Alfred

Legal information

Annual membership fee of £195 applies. Service charges are additional and billed separately.

One provider: Alfred Wholesale Limited acts as a single point of contact for energy, mobile, broadband and insurance services. For insurance, Alfred Insurance Brokers Limited acts as a broker; your policy is underwritten by a third-party insurer. Alfred is not the insurer and insurance claims are handled directly by the relevant underwriter.

Wholesale prices: Wholesale prices are made available to members via Alfred's agreements with network and supply partners. Pricing includes Alfred's cost to deliver and support each service. Alfred's margin is limited to the annual membership fee of £195.

No mark-ups: Alfred does not add a profit margin to the cost of individual services beyond the annual membership fee. The cost of each service reflects wholesale rates plus Alfred's cost to deliver and support that service.

No loyalty penalties: Alfred charges all members the same wholesale rates. Pricing is not discounted for new members at the expense of existing members. Rates may vary in line with wholesale market conditions and members will be notified in advance.

Quality, speeds and coverage: Service quality, speeds and coverage are subject to the terms of Alfred's network partners. Broadband speeds are estimates and may vary. Mobile coverage is dependent on network availability.

Prices negotiated collectively for our members: Alfred negotiates wholesale rates on behalf of its collective membership base. Individual savings will vary depending on current tariffs, household usage and number of services taken.

100% Satisfaction Guarantee: Alfred will always provide a refund if a customer is unhappy either with their savings or another aspect of their experience.

£1000 saving: This is an illustrative savings estimate of up to approximately £1,000 a year, for a UK household taking all four Alfred services. Modelled on a dual-fuel high-usage household as defined by Ofgem (3,800 kWh electricity and 14,000 kWh gas a year), two mobile plans, a 1Gb full-fibre broadband connection, and two cars on comprehensive insurance with breakdown cover. Savings are calculated against the average of the five largest providers in each market on their standard, default or out-of-contract published rates, not best-available deals: standard variable energy tariffs under the Ofgem price cap in force at the date below; 30-day rolling unlimited mobile plans; a 1Gb full-fibre broadband package on out of contract pricing. Insurance is individually risk-rated, so policy savings will vary and are not included. This is not a typical household - most households use less, take fewer services, or are on fixed or best-available deals, and will save less, and some may save nothing. All services are in development ahead of launch and actual savings cannot be guaranteed. Prices correct as of July 2026. Savings exclude membership fee of £195 a year.
