Waitlist Terms & Conditions

Alfred Wholesale Limited · Last updated June 2026

These terms apply when you join the Alfred waitlist and use the waitlist app. We've kept them short and written them to be read. If anything's unclear, email hello@alfred.co.uk.

1. Who we are

Alfred Wholesale Limited is registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16293586). Our registered office is 9 Thorney Leys Park, Witney, Oxfordshire, OX28 4GE. When we say "Alfred", "we", "us" or "our", we mean Alfred Wholesale Limited.

2. What the waitlist is

The Alfred waitlist is a way to register your interest in becoming an Alfred member before we launch. Joining is free, creates no financial commitment, and doesn't make you a member.

3. Who can join

To join, you must be 18 or over and live in England, Scotland or Wales. Alfred isn't available in Northern Ireland yet.

4. Joining the waitlist

When you join, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Notice. You can also choose to get Alfred emails — launch updates, founding member offers, referral invitations, and product and membership news — by ticking the consent box when you sign up. You can unsubscribe any time using the link in any email, or by emailing hello@alfred.co.uk.

5. Using the app and your account

Please use the waitlist app lawfully and for your own personal use. Don't use bots, scripts or automated sign-ups; don't scrape, copy, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app; don't try to gain unauthorised access; and don't impersonate anyone. Keep to one account per person, give us accurate information, and keep your login details safe — tell us at hello@alfred.co.uk if you think your account security has been misused. We can suspend or close your account, or remove you from the waitlist, if you break these terms or misuse the app.

6. Founding Member status

You become a Founding Member by referring three friends who join the Alfred waitlist. As a Founding Member you get early access before we open to everyone, VIP support for life, and a membership fee fixed for life — we'll never increase it, even in line with inflation, so you'll only ever pay the flat £195 a year.

7. Fair referrals and rewards

Referrals must be genuine — real people you know. Don't create fake, duplicate, automated or self-referrals, and don't spam, buy or sell referral links. If we reasonably suspect gaming or fraud, we can remove referrals, withhold or withdraw Founding Member status, and suspend or close accounts. We may give each referred friend £20 off when they join Alfred; this is subject to their membership terms, and we can change or withdraw it.

8. What the waitlist app does

The app lets you join the waitlist and find out more about Alfred. It doesn't provide membership services — those come after launch, through the full Alfred app. Joining doesn't guarantee that we'll launch, onboard you by any particular date, serve your area, or that any service or price will be available; renewal dates and onboarding waves are only indicative. We'll do our best to keep the app available, but we can't promise uninterrupted access and may update it or take it down from time to time.

9. What Alfred membership involves

Membership is a separate product with its own terms — the Alfred Master Customer Agreement — which we'll give you before you sign up. In short: membership costs £195 a year; it unlocks wholesale ("at-cost") pricing across energy, mobile, broadband and insurance; and Alfred doesn't add a profit margin to your service costs beyond the membership fee. For insurance, Alfred acts as a broker and is paid commission by the insurer, included in your premium — there's no separate Alfred charge. Joining the waitlist doesn't commit you to becoming a member.

10. Estimates, comparisons and chat

Any savings figures, "Big 5" comparisons and price charts in the app are illustrative estimates, based on the information you give us and third-party market data. They're not a promise of the savings you'll actually make. Alfred Chat gives general information and may be automated — it isn't financial, insurance or legal advice, so please don't rely on it for decisions.

11. Our liability

We're not liable for loss or damage that isn't a foreseeable result of our actions, or that comes from using the waitlist or app in a way that breaks these terms. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else we can't legally exclude.

12. Our content and your feedback

The waitlist app and its content belong to Alfred, and you can use them for your own personal, non-commercial use only. If you send us ideas or feedback — for example through "Help us build Alfred" or chat — we can use them freely, with no obligation to you.

13. Changes to these terms and the waitlist

We may update these terms from time to time — for example if the waitlist or founding member offers changes, or if the law requires it — and we'll give you at least 30 days' notice of any significant change by email. We can also change, pause or withdraw the waitlist, the app, the founding member offer and referral rewards at any time. This does not affect the fixed-for-life membership fee we've already confirmed for Founding Members.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms, without affecting any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
